Environment

VPIS is strongly committed to environmental  sustainability. One of most important and long-running programs in the Neighborhood Tree Program that helps sustain the city’s tree canopy. We have also started a new program, RainSmart, to help citizens to lower the amount of run-off their property contributes during rain events. These programs help the city meet important environmental goals.

Many of our projects and partnerships are highlighted on the National Wildlife Federations’ City of Falls Church page: www.nwf.org/CommunityWildlifeHabitat/Communities/Community/267
