Annual Independence Day Readings

VPIS has sponsored and organized a reading of our founding documents for over 35 years on the fourth of July. This year we will be holding the readings on Sunday, fourth of July, at the historic Falls Church at 2pm. It will be held outdoors on the lawn (115 East Fairfax Street).  Bring your lawn chair.

It will last about one hour.  Please join us.

Typically citizens take turns reading these documents:

Fairfax Resolves

Virginia Declaration of Rights

Bill of Rights

Declaration of Independence

Emancipation Proclamation

Pledge of Allegiance
